Managing task ownership in monday.com can become messy during employee transitions, workload redistribution, or team restructuring. Most teams still manually update items one by one across multiple boards -- which takes a lot of time and effort. To simplify this process, we built Bulk Task Reassignment for monday.com.The app helps admins and managers:✅ Reassign tasks across multiple boards✅ Transfer ownership in bulk✅ Filter by workspace, folder, or board✅ Reassign people by status condition (ex: only Pending/In Progress/Done items)✅ Simplify employee offboarding workflows✅ Save hours of manual updatesMarketplace App:Bulk Task ReassignmentWould love feedback from the community on additional workflow use cases or features that could improve large-scale task management.
Hi everyone,I'm planning my first marketplace app and I'd like to be sure I'm on the right side of one rule before I invest in development. The app planning guide states that new apps built primarily using no-code platforms or AI-generated "vibe code" are not eligible for marketplace approval. In practice "AI-generated" covers quite a range, so I'd like to understand where the line sits. Two examples:1. An app generated end to end from a prompt by an AI or no-code builder and submitted essentially as generated.2. A conventionally architected app where I design the structure, review and test the code, and maintain it myself — but use an AI coding assistant to write a large part of it.Is the rule aimed at case 1 only, or does case 2 fall under it as well? And if case 2 is acceptable, is there anything specific the review team looks at to tell the two apart — code ownership, test coverage, documentation, being able to explain and maintain the codebase?I would much rather find this out now th
I want to know the whole process from the scratch how to prepare app for the marketplace ?In terms of the security pricing and all related issues ?Is there any specific checklist to follow for this ?The app is deployed on the monday Code [Monday Server Side].
Ensures every email in your monday CRM is deliverable, trustworthy, and ready to convert Why We Built This App: Email marketing is only as effective as your contact list. We built Mail Validator to solve the pain of wasted campaigns, bounced emails, and damaged sender reputations. By integrating email verification directly into monday CRM, we empower teams to act on clean, trustworthy data from day one. What It Does: Mail Validator instantly checks every email address added to your monday CRM for: Validity (e.g., syntax errors like “gmaul.com” → corrected to “gmail.com”) Deliverability (e.g., full inboxes, inactive domains, spam traps) Risk (e.g., disposable emails like @tempmail.com, high-risk domains) Reputation Impact (flags addresses that could harm your sender score) Results are pushed to your CRM board, with statuses and actionable recommendations for you to decide. Example Use Cases & Workflows: Low Open Rates? Scrub your CRM list before launching a campaign. Give highest
Hi everyone,I'm building a Monday Code application that generates proposal PDFs.Currently, my application works like this:Generate a proposal in React (HTML) Capture the generated HTML Send it to the backend Use Puppeteer to render the HTML into a PDF Merge additional PDF documents Upload the final PDF back to monday.comThis workflow works locally. However, after deploying to Monday Code, Puppeteer is unable to launch Chromium. My backend currently uses Puppeteer similar to this: const browser = await puppeteer.launch({ headless: true});const page = await browser.newPage();await page.setContent(html);const pdf = await page.pdf({ format: "A4", printBackground: true});await browser.close();The issue appears to be that Chromium cannot start inside the Monday Code runtime. My questions are:Is Puppeteer officially supported in Monday Code? Is Chromium available in the Monday Code runtime? If not, is there a recommended approach for server-side HTML → PDF generation? Has anyone success
Hello Community,Is there any way to know if another developer is already working on a third-party integration before you start building? We ask because we recently went through the full development cycle for an integration, only to find out during the review process that a similar app had been published while we were building. The marketplace duplication policy then resulted in a rejection. It feels like there's a gap here for development teams who start in good faith when no integration exists, but then someone else publishes before them. Is there a formal way to flag your integration intent early, or an appeals process for cases like this?Thank you in advance.
Hey there! Excited to share what we have been working on: We built MiroSync for monday.com, an integration that turns your monday items into live Miro cards and your Miro stickies into monday items. Two-way sync, real time. The gap it fills: teams plan visually in Miro (retros, sprint planning, roadmaps, workshops), then someone has to manually copy stickies into monday items, or screenshot the board and paste it somewhere. The other direction is just as broken. For retros, backlog reviews, or roadmap sessions, people want to pull existing monday items into Miro to move them around visually, but today that means rebuilding the board by hand and keeping both sides up to date. On a busy week, neither direction happens, and the Miro board drifts out of sync from the source of truth. What you can do with it:Import existing monday items from any board into Miro as live cards Edit on either side and the other updates in seconds. Edit a card in Miro, the monday item updates. Change a status
We just launched Quick Updates in the monday.com marketplace, and we’d love to hear what the community thinks.Quick Updates is built for teams that write the same monday.com item updates again and again: status notes, handoff messages, HR/onboarding updates, support responses, CRM follow-ups, project check-ins, and similar repeatable communication. The app lets you:- Create reusable rich-text update templates- Insert dynamic variables like item name, assignee, date, status, and column values- Send a prepared update from an item view in a few clicks- Apply the same template to multiple selected items at once- Personalize each bulk update with data from the specific item- Keep templates personal or share them with the teamThe main idea is simple: fewer copy-paste updates, more consistent communication, and faster batch work directly inside monday.com. Marketplace link:https://monday.com/marketplace/listing/10001151/quick-updates We’d be grateful for any feedback! What would make reusable u
Hi monday.com dev community 👋 Sharing a new app from LupApps: Column Clone & SyncTHE PROBLEMFormula, Mirror, Timeline, and Connected Boards columns hold critical data — but monday.com locks them out of automations. You can't select a Formula column in the automation builder. Mirror is read-only. Timeline dates can't split into separate columns natively. The Workflow Builder now supports some of these scenarios, but Pro accounts are limited to 5 workflows — and building a full workflow just to make one column value usable doesn't scale. OUR APPROACH CCS is built as a column extension — not an automation. Click the three dots on any column header → Apps → Column Clone & Sync → pick your source → done.No workflow builder. No automation recipes. No operations cost. Setup takes ~5 seconds. WHAT CCS COVERS 33 source column types → 9 target types Formula → Date, Numbers, Text, Status — results where you actually need them Mirror → all 9 target types — no more read-only dead end
If I price per user, and I want these Accounts to be able to subscribe as many users as they want to my app, is that possible? For example, if the Account has 100 Monday users, but only 3 users want to use my app, how do I set that up? Thanks!

Hey everyone! I’m new here and looking for some perspective on a workflow issue. In my team, we constantly struggle with 'premature completion', people marking a parent task as 'Done' before the sub-tasks are actually ready. I'm thinking of building a small app that 'locks' the parent task until a certain percentage of sub-tasks hit a specific status.Does anyone else run into this? I’d love to hear how you handle it or if there are specific rules your team uses that I haven't thought of. what is the best way to connect with people who have similar problems here?
I am working on the board view app feature.I have deployed / hosted that app on the monday CDN . It is nothing but the react app.I want to share that view or react app using public shareable link.
Hey everyone,My name is Natt. I’m part of the team building OnboardFlow, an employee onboarding app designed to work with monday.com. We come from an HR SaaS background, and onboarding was one problem we kept seeing everywhere. New hires chasing documents over email. HR tracking progress in spreadsheets. Tasks scattered across tools. Nobody fully sure what’s the overall progress. No one can change this into meaningful KPIs. So we built OnboardFlow to simplify that. HR teams continue managing onboarding inside monday.com — creating plans, assigning tasks, reviewing documents — while new hires use a simple mobile app (iOS & Android) to complete everything from their phone using an invite code. Tech stackReact + Laravel + Flutter We chose monday.com because we love how easy HR teams use it to run their daily works in it. Always happy to connect with other builders here, especially anyone working on monday.com integrations or mobile companion apps. Check it out - https://monday.com/ma
We’ve just launched a powerful upgrade to SMS to Board, introducing a fully redesigned SMS & Numbers Dashboard and advanced number management capabilities. Here’s what’s new:📞 Smarter Phone Number Search & ReservationYou now have complete control when reserving numbers. No more random assignment — you choose the number.: 🌍 Select country before searching 📱 Choose number type (mobile, etc.) 🔎 Search by area code or specific number pattern 🎯 Find numbers containing specific digits 📋 Browse available numbers before renting ✅ Select the exact number that fits your business needs 🔗 Advanced Board Linking & Field MappingWe’ve added deeper integration controls: Link each phone number to a specific workspace Choose the exact board that will receive messages Map SMS data to custom board columns: Sender number Message text Date column Assign a custom alias/name to each phone number (e.g., “Sales Line”, “Support UK”, “Marketing Campaign”) This giv
Hello monday.com Developer Community,I'm a first-time monday.com app developer trying to set up my development environment to build an Integration app using the Quickstart Integration tutorial. I'm encountering several issues and would appreciate guidance on the complete setup process. Current issue:When I try to deploy using mapps code:push, I get the error: "Failed in uploading the project." The deployment shows as "pending" but never completes. What I need help understanding:Complete deployment workflow - What are the correct steps from code download to working app? Local development vs deployment - Should I test locally first using a tunnel, or deploy directly to monday code? Configuration in Developer Center - Where exactly do I add the Base URL for my integration feature? Environment setup - Are there any other prerequisites or configurations I might be missing?

Hi all!Excited to be part of the community, and to share that I finally managed to push this over the first major milestone: launching in the marketplace! The app is for vertically grouping columns together, hiding/showing them, and colorizing them. The initial users of the app seemed to feel like it had lots of potential and I’m curious to hear what you all think. You can make custom groups of columns per horizontal item group or globally across all item groups. You can find it here: https://monday.com/marketplace/listing/10000997/column-groupsWhat can be better? What doesn’t work well for you? Thanks for the feedback and encouragement, it’s been both fun and frustrating to navigate the development ecosystem, but I think things are moving along now.Cheers,Brad
Hi everyone,I’m excited to share a new app I’ve been working on called Team Glossary. The Problem: We found that as teams scale, unique internal terminology and acronyms often lead to confusion, especially for new hires. Static boards or Workdocs help, but they require users to manually search for definitions, which creates friction and leads to low adoption. The Solution: Team Glossary allows you to build a central repository of terms, but the real value is in the Item View integration.Key Features: Auto-Detection: The app automatically identifies defined terms within your item views and shows their definitions in the Glossary item view. Centralized Management: Easily add and update terms from one central location(only admins can add/edit/delete new terms). Standard terms import: You can easily import 200+ standard terms across industries to get started quickly Why I built it: I wanted to bridge the gap between "having a glossary" and "using a glossary."I’d love to get your feedback
Hey all! 👋We launched an app for sharing items between boards and just released a new version that adds automations to make item sharing/linking easier, including templates of how to link items between boards and bulk actions for quick initial setup.Tl;dr - our app lets you link/share items with your desired columns across boards and keep selected columns in sync both ways, manually and automatically. What’s new in this version:Relationship Templates: reusable templates for how data should flow between boards (your saved “linking recipe”) Automations: use those templates in monday automations so linking happens automatically when something changes (status, new item, etc.) We currently have some templates for automations and are working on supporting custom automations. Templates include: status change, person assigned, item created, date arrived, date passed etc.. Bulk Actions: to make setup easier, you can apply a Relationship to a bunch of existing items at once (great for initi
Hey all, just wanted to let you know that our app Client Portal Builder has been released in the monday marketplace recently. With the app, you can create a Client Portal and share board items with clients. Here are some of the key features of the app: Create and manage Client Portals directly from within the monday UI. Data (including accounts) are stored in your monday account. Every client is literally a board item in a monday “Clients” board. Multiple different strategies to define which client is allowed to see which items and columns. Embed monday WorkForms in your Client Portal. Connect the Client Portal with your own domain. Customize colors and brand your Client Portal with your company logo. Multi-Region support: If your monday account is located in the US, your Client Portal will be hosted on US servers, if it’s hosted in the EU, it’ll be hosted on EU servers. To get an overview, there is a Getting Started Video on YouTube: Client Portal Builder for monday.com – Ge

Good morningHope you are well.We have a question regarding the installation of application.I have raised this question to our enterprise plan assistant, who said that it is related to the back-end technical architecture of applications on Monday so she can't help.Let's say we've created an application - a workspace template, from an existing board on domain A.monday.com<http://a.monday.com/> with data residency in USA.Then we want to install this application to a new domain B.monday.com<http://b.monday.com/> with data residency in Europe. The creation of application was pretty fast , it took me 10 minutes. However the installation, has taken me over 7 hours, and I didn't have the whole board — some files are still not uploaded, and the installation was stopped itself when it took too long, even if I leave the browser of installation open.Could you help me to understand why it is so slow to install the application and why did we fail to install the whole board, and how to make
Hi everyone,My name is Mike,I’ve just launched a new integration that brings App Store and Google Play reviews directly into your monday.com board.https://monday.com/marketplace/listing/10000934/app-reviews-integration Why I built it:Managing mobile app reviews across platforms can be messy and time-consuming. This integration makes it simple — all your user feedback is automatically synced into your monday boards, so your team can track sentiment, assign follow-ups, and respond faster Key features: Easy setup: Connect your iOS and Android apps with just an App Store ID and package name. Custom filters: Focus only on the reviews that matter (rating, keywords, country/language). Automated updates: New reviews are fetched every hour. Pricing: 2-week free trial $19/month after 👉 If your team works on mobile apps, give it a try and let me know what you think!I’d love your feedback — feel free to drop questions or suggestions in the comments :)
