We’re introducing Object storage for monday code (BLOB), a native way for apps to store large files directly within the monday infrastructure.Object storage is designed for large, unstructured data such as media files, documents and generated assets. It enables apps to store and retrieve files efficiently and cost-effectively, without relying on external storage services. Why this mattersMany apps need to store or generate files: exports, media assets, AI outputs, or reports. Until now, this often meant working around storage limits or integrating third-party file storage. With native Object storage, you can: Store large files at scale without hitting existing storage limits  Keep all customer data within monday, increasing trust and simplifying governance Eliminate external storage setup, credentials, and operational overhead Build file-heavy and AI-driven workflows more easily. If your app creates, processes, or persists files, Obejct storage is the right foundation. What you can

Hi! I'm a solo founder planning a paid B2B app for the marketplace. The guidelines say new apps "built primarily using no-code platforms or AI-generated 'vibe code'" are not eligible.I'm not an engineer. The code would be written with an AI coding assistant (Claude Code), but with:- documented architecture, automated tests and version control;- OAuth 2.1 with minimal scopes;- an external security review;- a full code review by an independent senior developer before submission.Would an app built this way be eligible? If there are extra requirements, such as a named developer responsible for maintenance, I'd like to know them before I start building. Thanks!

TLDR;Is there a way to add a column, to a board, which when its data is updated does not cause an update to that ITEM's modified date? RationaleI've created a sync system to sync mdc Proposal activity to internal corporate systems. It filters Proposal by ITEM modified date to determine which mdc Proposals were altered since the prior sync. I would like to add a few "sync info" fields to the mdc Proposal board, to indicate the latest sync status. However, I don't want writing to those sync fields, on the Proposal board, to alter the ITEM's modified date so as not to cause a never ending sync loop. The sync system was written in python and uses normal api calls. It does not use the monday.client python tool.

Let's say my app is an integration with M365/Outlook and has a trigger "When email is flagged in Outlook"...I need to create this automation block as a trigger with:A subscribe URL - create the incoming webhook subscription from Outlook to listen to events An unsubscribe URL -  deletes the incoming webhook from OutlookBoth of these will use the credentials feature and monday will pass me a valid, but short lived access token for use with Microsoft 365.Here's the hard part...I also need to regularly update the Microsoft Graph to renew the webhook subscription (as mail subscriptions expire after 3 days)This will need to be done with a monday-code cron job which:requests a new access token from monday for the correct user sends the webhook subscription renewal to MicrosoftIn the old infra, we’d use a credentials field and handle the logic ourselves, in our app, but with the new infra, the credentials are stored by monday and are abstracted away completely.👉 How do I request a new Microso

If this community is not going to be staffed to answer questions it should be closed. Simple as that.

Hi everyone,We are preparing the production migration of a monday Code Marketplace app and have reached a few platform-level questions where we cannot find an explicit supported contract in the documentation. We already have support requests open, but these questions seem general to monday Code / Apps Framework development rather than specific to our account, so I’m posting them here as one topic. Our goal is to build a fail-closed migration without relying on undocumented assumptions.------------------------------------------------------------1. SecureStorage recovery after a lost write acknowledgement------------------------------------------------------------Consider this sequence:1. The app calls:   secureStorage.set(key, value)2. The write may have completed successfully.3. The monday Code process terminates or the response is lost before the app receives the acknowledgement.4. A replacement process must reconcile the operation. What is the supported application-level contract?- Is s

Hi monday Marketplace team,I'm preparing my first app for the marketplace and would like to check it against your published rules before submitting, so I don't take up your reviewers' time unnecessarily.App: "Sign-off: Item Approvals", App ID 12336968 (developer account: franckelsonds-team)1. Duplication policyYour planning guide's "Marketplace Quality and Duplication Policy" says apps that "copy the core functionality of an existing marketplace app" will not be accepted (https://developer.monday.com/apps/docs/monday-app-development-process). My app is an item view for internal approvals. Approvers can be people or whole teams. It runs sequential rounds, each set to "everyone" or "any one". A comment is required to reject or request changes. Files can be attached from the item's Files tab. An Approval status column drives monday automations. It is front-end only, hosted on monday's CDN, with no external backend. I know approval apps already exist (for example Approvals for monday.com a

Hey everyone, I’m Oran, the developer behind Item to Form.If you’ve ever emailed a client for missing details, then copied their reply into monday.com, this is the workflow the app is built to simplify. You open an existing item, choose the columns you want them to fill in, and share a form link. They don’t need a monday.com account, and their answers update that same item. For example, if you already have an item for a client’s onboarding, you can send them a form to complete their contact details and preferred start date. Everything lands in the record you’re already working with. You can also show fields as read-only for context, set required fields and validation rules, and generate separate links for multiple items at once. There’s a free plan with 25 submissions per month if you’d like to try it on a small workflow.Check out Item to Form on the monday.com marketplace.I’d love to hear how you currently collect information from people outside your account. If you try it, tell me what w

Hi everyone,I’m adding AI capabilities to a Monday app and have hit a blocker with testing credits. Our app has the ai:consume scope, but run_prompt returns:{ "message": "AI credits limit reached", "extensions": { "code": "INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS" }}I reproduced the same error directly in the API playground using version 2026-10, so it appears independent of our app.I can’t find an AI credit balance or an option to obtain testing credits in our developer account. The only purchase option I see is a paid subscription with a minimum of three seats. Is there a way to get free AI credits for development and testing? Or is a paid workspace subscription required just to test the integration? If there’s a setting or a developer credit request process I’ve missed, please point me in the right direction. Thanks!

Hi all,First (and probably last) time I am submitting an app for the marketplace, this process is now ongoing for almost 2 months. Can someone explain to me why I am being juggled around, the reviewer has no clue about technical details, contradicts themselves with official documentation and for every second thing I am asked to open a support ticket, so I am going around in circles. (It feels like they have a list of tasks to check off without really understanding them properly)I am also asked to do stuff that’s impossible with the current monday platform, 2 examples: a) Make sure you delete user data after uninstalling, whilst I am using monday.storage only anyway and per the official documentation there is no need for this and it’s also impossible). b) After driving me mad about changing auth to be front end only with the monday SDK (and not JWT), I am now asked to change the reviewer’s account status to PRO, well the app_subscription query does not work in the playground, maybe there

Hi,Does anyone know what causes this GraphQL query error and how to avoid it: HTTPSConnectionPool(host='api.monday.com', port=443): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2 (Caused by SSLError(SSLEOFError(8, '[SSL: UNEXPECTED_EOF_WHILE_READING] EOF occurred in violation of protocol (_ssl.c:1000)')))I have created a Flask APP and I am using Python SDK.

Hi all,Is there a rate limit on POST requests to the webhookUrl a monday workflows custom trigger gets when it subscribes? If so, is it applied per app or per account, and what happens when you go over it (a 429, or events dropped silently)?I couldn't find this in the custom trigger docs or on the API rate limits page. Thanks!
