We’ve just released a highly requested update to Recurring Tasks 🎉

You can now define the status of a task when setting up your recurrence! This means your newly created tasks won’t automatically copy the status from the last one (like “Done”)—instead, they’ll start fresh with the status you choose.

👉 Just check the “Set Status to” option when configuring your recurrence, and select the default status you want applied.
