Hello there @Sicko ,
Matias here!
As of today, that can’t be done using our API.
Cheers,
Matias
This would also enable an important use case for us!
Hello @Jacinto and welcome to the community!
I hope you like it here 🙂
I have added your vote towards this request.
Cheers,
Matias
I would also like this.
We really want to use the emails and activities but all of ours are via subitems and the automations are completely broken, because once you’ve created them, the automations pick up the column with the same column ID in the parent item. The automations just don’t work.
Being able to query the API would at least allow us to find any subitems that have had an email response and programatically change a field - as it is now it’s unworkable.
Hi @Matias.Monday ,
Do you have any updates on this for us? Is this under consideration or planned? I would also like to use this api and created this feature request for it.
Cheers
Anton
Hi @anton1,
This is on our list for consideration. That being said- we do not have an ETA for a release of this future.
For those who came up with the same issue from the future (like myself) - now it is possible as the API is released

Thanks for the link! Though reading through the documentation seems like this is still not possible. The timeline item returned by API doesn’t seem to contain the “seen” content that OP linked.
🚀 Update: I’ve built a solution that allows you to efficiently search through Call Summaries, Notes, and Meetings logged in the native Emails & Activities app – exactly what many of us have been waiting for!
📸 Attaching a quick screenshot below so you can get a feel for it.
💬 I’m currently giving early access to a few folks to gather feedback/changes (if required) – if you’re interested in trying it out or want a quick walkthrough, feel free to DM me and I’ll set you up!
