It's possible to create a Marketplace app with custom collumn?

Can you tell me what apps can create custom columns?
As far as I know custom columns cannot be created yet.

It’s not really a custom column, but an addon you can see in the column menu.

@dvdsmpsn I have custom-built apps on the marketplace, not public, a custom column would solve a lot of problems.

I’m talking about theapp “Workflow”. They do have a costum column and this feature “Board Column Extension” does not seem to be related to their feature, because their feature does’nt even appears as a column extension, but with whole new stuff and settings. See the prints

It seems exactly what the board column extension does.
You can extend the board menu of specific column types to open custom windows.
Currently you can’t create new column types, if this is what you are looking for.

That’s exactly the point. Opening custom menus is something we have managed to do acoording the monday apps docs, but the custom options inside that status column provided by the app “workflow” (bottom of the options modal) and the “workflow settings” being presented as an option at the column settings is something the docs does not talk about and it’s precisely what we want to do.

I tried contacting Monday through the chat to ask how to develop new column types, and they directed me to create a topic in the community. I’m hoping someone from the official Monday team can respond here to clarify whether this is actually possible, or if it’s only allowed for those two people. I’d also like to know if there are any specific requirements to be allowed to create custom column types.
