I believe that workflows will supersede sentence builder at some point in the future, but this cannot happen until all accounts have workflows enabled and there’s been some time for changeover.
Having some kind of timeline on this would be most useful for future planning. @OmerK is there anything official you could share?
The good news is that there is not much work to adapt your current automation logic work with workflows, so I’d recommend trying to migrate a single action and any of its dependencies to workflow builder to get an idea of the road ahead.
@dvdsmpsn its not so much the difficulty converting - its that the last public information I heard was that Workflows are an Enterprise only feature. This cuts out a huge part of the market that can’t use Workflows. While replacing sentence builder with workflows globally sounds good - as it stands today workflows aren’t attached to a board, so duplicating boards or some template means users can’t bring automations/integrations along from the templates.
@Revilre I’ve seen no official announcements about sentence builder vs workflow builder.
What I do know is that workflow builder was initially announced as enterprise plan only, and you’ll see in all the support docs that it is enterprise plan only.
However, this single source says:
> Available on Pro (by mid-October 2025) and Enterprise plans
> Note: Access to the Workflow builder is slowly being rolled out to Pro accounts.
Call that an announcement. Maybe.
