Interact server side and client side

What does your app do? What features does your app have? What would you do on the server side and on the client side and how would they interact?

Hi,
My goal is to get orders and projects open in another system and let the user choose from this list:

As you can see i have a “form”, but i cant send an API to my system from the client-side in order to get the orders from my system, so i need to ask from the server side to send this api request and give back to array to the client side
