Hey,


I am a designer that currently trying to design a new platform for my company to make work easier for everyone.

Ideally I want it to be integrated with Monday. Such as, PM creates a project/task and assigns this to in this case producers or designers.


Is there any way (please forgive my none existing knowledge) to send this information to our new platform, and if so what would this be called and how can I look into this.


This so the PM doesn’t have to create 2 similar project. Same would be, if the projected are done in the platform and ‘ticket off’. Can it be sent to Monday as task done?


Any help here would be amazing. I am very exciting creating this for our small company. Unfortunately we don’t have a dev department so it a few hurdles to find out whats possible and not.

You could use our API directly to get data from your monday boards and send it somewhere else. If you can integrate with the other platform, will depend on their API (if they have one) and its capabilities.


If the other platform has its own API with which you can interact, then you might be able to create an app with an integration feature (this would require a script (code) on your end). You could use an automation recipe built-in trigger with your own custom action perhaps. You can use the API to get the desired information from your monday boards.


You could use webhooks to let an endpoint on your end know when something happened in your monday board (to use that as a trigger to then use the API to get data from monday).

Thank you so much for this answer. I will deep dive into this. Some of it I recognise from before, as I will be creating the platform we might be able to create our own API. This might be waaay down the line. But it’s great to get some more information for me to look into and gather for the future, hopefully we can make a seamless product that works with Monday.
