Hey there, Monday Apps novice here… I completed the quickstart guide for creating a custom Monday App Integration Feature, but when trying to add the example integration (“When column changes transform it [to upper case/to lower case] into text column”) I get a “Failed to load options” message. So far, I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling the dev environment using the Monday quickstart guide and using the Monday example apps GitHub, installing all dependencies, and stopping and restarting the Node server, but have not been able to resolve the issue. It’s possible I’m missing something obvious but cannot quite put my finger on what.

I’m hoping for some help with setting up an automation on Monday via Zapier. What I’m trying to achieve seems quite simple but I’m yet to have any success. I have a leave tracker board and an employee directory board. When an employee completes a form for leave request they enter their name and leave dates. What I want to happen is when a new item is created the employee name is looked up in the employee directory to seem which person/user is associated with this name. I then want the user/person in the leave tracker to be automatically updated to match whats in the Employee Directory board. I hope that makes sense… Thanks in advance.

Hi, I am building a query that I want to use for fetching items from a board with two conditions. The problem is that API rejects my query when I want to use operator between for date column type. Initially I wanted to make a query that would basically say: “Give me all items that have checkbox checked and that have start date greater than some_date”. But I couldn’t make it work so I decided to ask it in the way: “Give me all items that have checkbox checked and that have start date between date_1 - date_2”. At the moment, it seems the newest_first argument does not work on item queries in the new API. Is it still supported? If not, how does one reproduce that functionality in the new API?

I have created a webhook on make.com. When I attempt to integrate it to my board, it’s asking for a webhook url link, but I’m not finding this link on the make.com webhook board. What’s the link they are looking for? How do I generate it on Make.com. Thanks!

Hi Monday.com Team, I need to understand the External API authentication method. While creating an app feature, we are providing a public remote URL (lambda function URL) that triggers when a particular column changes to “started.” However, I have other vendors who have an external API and prefer not to pass the API token in the URL (not accessed remotely). I am a new user to Monday.com and I am working on a proof of concept to make my decision if Monday.com will support our needs. I need to see if there is a solution for the following: I am currently e-mailing Monday.com with the following “24,0070,32,24A10,00001,00100.00,00300.00,Fire Inspection Contract” in the subject line. When Monday.com recieves the email it uses the subject line to populate the Task Column (Primary Column) with the this information. I’m trying to develop a new board view and want to use the 2023-10 graphQL schema. When setting that version of the API (with the 0.4.X monday-sdk-js package), I am getting the following error in the console: There was an error in response from monday.com graphql API: [{"message":"Permission Denied! Your token doesn't grant access to boards:read"}] If I update my query to work with the old schema, then the query executes fine. Is there a way to get this working at the moment?

AFAIK a board contains one or more items, each item is like a row in tabular data, if I have a board with lot’s of items, and each item has some values stored in it, then how can I fetch all those data from the board?

Good day, I am developing a custom application in React. Ideally, to be used as a board view. The issue I am having is that, while the custom board view renders and works fine on PC, I get met with: This feature is currently unavailable on mobile. Please go to desktop to use it. However, using the exact same, identical code as a dashboard widget instead of a board view, allows for the app/feature to be used on mobile (testing done with the most recent version of the Monday app on iOS 16.6.1). This is not ideal, as using a widget for my application feels clunky, and the scrolling is not intuitive. I was wondering if there are certain features that may restrict my application from being used as a board view, or if this is just the case with all React apps. Any advice/info would be appreciated. Could we get enterprise-level features added to monday developer accounts? One of my customers is seeing an API error, which I’m fairly sure is due to board permissions. There’s no way for me to reproduce this error though with only my developer account, since it doesn’t include these features. In my opinion, developer accounts should have full access to everything available so that developers can fully test all scenarios of their app. An even better solution would be for us pick the level of account to create, so we can test the app for every available tier.

Hi everyone! I have a question about the Time Tracking column. I am interested in getting the single sessions’ data from the audit log of the time tracking column in my subitems (e.g., the two sessions in the screenshot): In 2023-07, I could use the field ‘additional_info’ to gather the info on the sessions: However, I cannot find a way to do the same in 2023-10. Any ideas to get to the same output? For my use case, downloading the Excel file manually or clicking on the audit log from the UI is a bit inconvenient.

Has anyone tried to run the Monday.com welcome apps (like this one: https://github.com/mondaycom/welcome-apps/tree/master/apps/quickstart-react) in a Docker Desktop container? I prefer to run development tools in Docker to avoid messing up my OS. I have it working to some degree with a few tweaks, but the tunnel (npm run mtunnel -p 8301) is not fully working. Hello community, I am pretty new to monday.com, and this is my first experience with GraphQL I am using Javascript in my API to mutate my board, specifically: My objective: I have a board with a few summary columns and a button. Each of the items of that board has a bunch of subitems. The purpose of the button mentioned above is to trigger my javascript code that writes a number into each of the subitems. What is given: BoardID and item_id (as pulseId) or rather, which item I clicked the button on. From here, I seemed to be able to get to the board’s subitems ID: query{boards(ids:$boardID){columns(ids:"subitems"){settings_str}}} followed by: let subID = JSON.parse(data_subs.data.boards[0].columns[0].settings_str).boardIds[0] If there’s a better way to get to sub-board-id please let me know, but ok. So far so good. but … My issue: I can’t find a way to traverse the tree, that is, how to go from the given elements to loop through the subitems of a specific item, getting their IDs. Once
