Error " [400] Unsupported query" When Adding CV Files to Monday.com via Make.com Automation

Hi everyone,

I’m working on automating our recruitment process by creating a flow that automatically adds candidates’ CVs from email to Monday.com. Here’s my current automation setup in Make.com:

  1. Email gets forwarded to Make.com (works)
  2. Parse email content (to extract candidate info) (works)
  3. Create new item in Monday.com board (works)
  4. Add the CV file to the Monday.com item (doesn’t work)

However, when trying to add the CV file to the Monday.com File column, I keep getting this error:

[400] Unsupported query

I’ve verified that:

  • The Monday.com column is set up as a File type
  • I have the necessary permissions
  • The integration is properly connected

Has anyone successfully set up a similar automation? Any ideas what might be causing this error?

Many thanks

Peter

Hello there @p3dr0 and welcome to the community!

Would you be able to please fill this form adding as much information as possible to it (such as account ID, board ID, item ID, the ID of the files column, timestamp of when you received the error (date, hour, minute, your location), etc.) so that our team can take a look into it?

@Matias.Monday Thanks for your reply.
I managed to resolve this issue now, if I remember correctly I mapped the wrong fields, once I updated mappings it all started working again
