I’ve found that a duplicated board creates the groups within the duplicate with the same group Id’s. When querying both boards it can’t tell the difference between the groups due to identical ID’s.
I just find it odd that the ID’s are identical when typically an ID is unique.
Has anyone else run into this?
I’m relatively new working with this API, so forgive me if I’m missing something obvious.
Groups are unique to a board though, and are a board not account level entity.
When you query the groups, they have to be part of a board. Just make sure you’re returning the board ID with the board. The groups will be returned within a board object then, and you’ll be able to know what board its in because its in the board with a particular ID.

If your querying items, just include the board on the item to find out the board ID of the item being returned?
