I’ve noticed questions go unanswered here routinely. Announcements are made and questions are asked and nobody replies.

Is there another community we’re supposed to be using instead?

That’s what I though as well. Hope the monday.com team improves their response time cause some of their resources in monday.com are not that searchable in the web.

Although I sometimes use chatgpt to ask some question that is very hard to find in the monday.com documentation. Not that it’s 100% correct but it’ll help me get an idea on what I’m looking at.

But yeah. This community should improve. Especially the responses from monday.com team.

I’m afraid I currently have to agree with @Revilre, there’s very little to no activity in here for answers to questions that show up the gaps in the documentation.

I also agree with @g.agoncillo that asking AI for help where there is documentation can be really beneficial, but that doesn’t get us far enough.

We’re really missing people in the roles previously occupied by Dipro and Mattias – technical people who have a deep knowledge of the product APIs and limitations. When you’re building example apps based on the public documentation, you very quickly find out where the gaps are and can update the docs with the missing pieces.

You don’t know what documentation is missing until you build apps only based on knowledge in the docs. The developer advocate role is really beneficial for both developer and AI as it feeds successful outcomes to both.

You cannot use an AI shortcut for this human gained knowledge and experience. The only way for the AI to gain the context is for the knowledge to exist and be accessible somewhere.

Right now, in this forum, we have a lot more questions than answers.

my guess is that the relevant mdc folks who would be able to answer some of the questions probably don't hang out here so often. so the questions simply don't reach the correct person? 🤔
