Does Monday code platform offer DDoS attack protection by default?

My app is on Monday code and I’m just wondering if I should set up Cloudflare DDOS protection for it.

Hey @linhle,

I checked with the team, and monday code does not currently support DDoS protection.

As far as I know, Monday does have some built-in security measures, but DDoS protection isn’t their primary focus. It’s always a good idea to layer your defenses, especially if your app has sensitive data or a growing user base.I’d recommend setting up Cloudflare or a similar service for added peace of mind. Cloudflare’s DDoS protection is robust, and it’s pretty straightforward to integrate. I learned the hard way when my site started experiencing unusual traffic spikes—it wasn’t a full-blown attack, but it was enough to make me take action. Also, while testing traffic patterns, I explored tools like ip booter to better understand how these attacks work and how to defend against them.

The current status from the changelog:

We’ve upgraded monday code’s security with enhanced Web Application Firewall (WAF) and Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) protection. This upgrade fully aligns with monday.com’s WAF and DDoS protection standards, improving the resilience and trustworthiness of your monday code apps.
