Breaking changes limitation in the API

Hey,
Today I notices some new(I think) feature for the people column. The option to limit the amount of possible people in the people column. This feature is great, but it added a limitation to the API! The exception I get is “CellLimitExceededException: Validation of column values failed: Exceed cell limit”
It is the first time I saw this feature so I believe it is new, also I couldn’t see the exception documented in the error codes or anywhere in the documentations and also not in the API or framework change log.
This is concerning, it breaks the API for us without any notice and option to support that… I saw also other options beign added lately to the column settings and I hope ther are not other breaking changes out there!
